Construction on the Steven and Jann Paul Hall for Science and Engineering continued this week as crews added structural steel to the fifth floor and began fireproofing the fourth.
Crews also continued framing walls on the second and third floors and bringing in mechanical lines. There were no utility shutdowns.
Sources of noise on the academic quad related to the construction came from heavy equipment, demolition, utility vehicles and power tools, according to the Campus Services website .
The five-story building will open in spring 2024, five years after the project was announced.
