Roads reopen in Sacramento after woman removed from electrical tower

Stockton Boulevard and Mack Road were closed in Sacramento on Monday morning as authorities helped a woman who climbed an electrical tower in the area, according to fire officials.

The tower belongs to Pacific Gas and Electric, and the utility said it de-energized the electric line just before 9:30 a.m. There were no outages due to this incident, PG&E said.

Officials said the woman was safely brought back down in a bucket truck.
