Around 7 p.m. Friday night first responders received reports of a traffic collision with a vehicle into a light pole on the 2000 block of Judah Lane in Newhall.
According to supervisor Ed Pickett with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, fire was dispatched by California Highway Patrol to assess the damage.
Upon arrival first responders discovered that the vehicle had collided with a light pole, leaving it uprooted and hanging above the street by power lines. Two lanes of northbound traffic on Newhall Avenue were blocked as a result.
One person was seen being taken to the hospital by paramedics, although L.A. County Fire has stated there was no injury as a result of the crash.
