Red sedan entangled in center divider guardrail after early morning collision on Highway 101 [Photo by Wade Smith]A car became entangled in the center divider cables after an early morning collision on Highway 101 south of Chapman’s Gem and Mineral Shop just before 6 a.m. on May 25th.

The occupants of the vehicle, a red Ford sedan, were reported to be uninjured.

Calfire and Fortuna Police Department responded.

A tow truck was requested. By 7:37 a.m. the roadway was cleared.

Seems like a distracted driver situation

Glad that the driver was uninjured. Nice to see that the center divider cables worked stopping the vehicle before it may have entered the other lanes of the highway.

Most likely a case of Wake and Bake PUFF PUFF PASS.

Roger Rodoni was killed right there. He wasn’t smoking.
